Ann Johnson, also known as F.B. Fogg, is a multi-media artist and arts educator. She began her
arts career as a graphic designer but moved on to raising a family and teaching at Northside
High School for 15 years. She decided to resign from teaching when her fiber arts inventory
exceeded her home studio. She needed more room for her line of handmade paper earrings,
clocks and designer clothing. She continued to make time to draw, paint and teach art.
She is a multi-media artist, using these skills to teach Art as an art teacher and as an
entrepreneur, to open a niche market of creating and selling her handmade paper earrings,
clocks and sculptural pieces and designer clothing ensembles.
She continues to teach adult painting classes in Indiana and is currently an adjunct instructor at
IVY TECH in Muncie, where she teaches Art Appreciation. She also teaches her painting series,
“Dancing with a Brush” at E.B. Ball in Muncie.
She continues to be very active with the Arts community of Central Indiana. She has received
many regional and national awards, grants and shows. She was actively involved with other
local artists with planning and opening Artworks Gallery, a cooperative of local artists in Muncie.
